Q. Why was my trash missed today? A. There are a few reasons this may have happened. 1. Your trash was not out when the driver was in your area. Please have trash out by 7:00 A.M. regardless of what time it is normally picked up at. 2. There may have been an additional amount of garbage than the amount you are signed up for and it was not called in ahead of time . If you are going to have more garbage than the amount you signed up for please call in at least 24 hours in advance to notify G&M of the extra amount so the driver will have note of it.
Q. When is the best time to set my garbage out for collection? A. We ask all of our customers to please have your garbage out by 7:00 A.M. because there are numerous factors that determine the time it takes for our drivers to complete their routes. (Weather, Landfill delays, Special jobs , etc.) This is one reason we are unable to be at a residence or business at specific times on collection day.

Q. Why does G&M ask residents to bag their garbage when they have receptacles to put the trash in? A. There are a couple reasons for this but we’ll just go with the main reason. 1. Windy days; during these type of days it is possible for receptacles to be blown over by the wind and even if the lid may is attached to the receptacle. When this occurs, all of your garbage may be scattered by the wind all over your neighborhood by the time our route staff gets to your location.
